IPTVhub runs on iPhone, iPad and Apple TV through App Store players. iOS is the most common second-screen device on multi-connection plans, so pair a 2 or 3 connection plan and your phone becomes a portable TV anywhere in Canada with data or Wi-Fi.

Setting up iOS & Apple TV step by step
You will need your IPTVhub username, password and server URL from your activation email. If you have not ordered yet, the 24-hour free trial gives you the same credentials at no cost.
- 1
Install a player from the App Store
Search for IPTV Smarters Player or GSE Smart IPTV and install it. On Apple TV, use the App Store on tvOS and search the same names.
- 2
Choose Xtream Codes login
Open the app and select Add User → Login with Xtream Codes API rather than the M3U option. This pulls the programme guide as well as the channels.
- 3
Enter your IPTVhub credentials
Type the username, password and server URL from your activation email exactly as written, including http:// and the port number. Tap Add User.
- 4
Allow local network access
iOS will prompt for local network permission on first playback. Allow it, otherwise streams will fail to start on Wi-Fi.
- 5
Enable AirPlay if you want the big screen
Swipe into Control Centre, tap Screen Mirroring, and pick your Apple TV. Or install the player directly on the Apple TV for better quality.
That is it
Your channel list, the 7-day programme guide and the on-demand library are now available on your iOS & Apple TV. Remember that you can install on as many devices as you like, and only simultaneous streams count against your plan.
Tips specific to iOS & Apple TV
These come from our support desk rather than a manufacturer datasheet. They are the adjustments that make a measurable difference in daily use.
Streaming over LTE/5G uses roughly 1.2 GB per hour in HD and 5 GB per hour in 4K. Check your Canadian carrier plan before a long session.
Enable Picture in Picture in the player settings so you can keep a game running while you use other apps.
On iPad, split view works well, with the game on one side, stats on the other.
Download the offline VOD titles you want before flying; live channels require a connection.
